OUR VISSION

To improve the credibility of local businesses and entrepreneurs in the environment and make Ndokwa a one-stop investment friendly destination.

OUR MISSION

Harness and integrate the industrial and commercial activities within Ndokwa to national and the global economy.

Rapid global economic growth in the past two decades has created unprecedented wealth with remarkable improvement in standard of living, especially in  the developing countries. Considering

these progressive achievement, it is quite glaring that most communities in our region are yet to have commensurate impact inspite of this impressive advancement. The prevailing socio-economic disparity therefore calls for total review of our current approach to planning and development.

Designing efficient strategy to address this anomaly however requires new creative thinking in conceptual framework and in view of the fast evolving technology changes. Although, the chamber has a visionary medium to long-term development plan, it also demand collaborative efforts to partner with both local and international institutions for prospective investors to establish needed infrastructures aiming to create job opportunities, earn revenue and promote technology developments.

Basic objectives of the chamber include disseminating relevant business information covering experiences from the local and global economies. Among forging close partnerships with the governments, business leaders, industries, academia and other groups to help achieve future development goals. There is also compelling need to fast track and accelerated growth by setting up a Technology Hub and dedicated Industrial Parks across the three local government areas in the constituency. These basic infrastructures are strategic economic drivers specifically designed to boost business activities in the region.

Efforts will equally be geared to attract foreign direct investment (FDI) among local developmental institutions under public private partnerships (PPP). Our targets for tech-skill acquisition programs include the establishment of Center for Advanced Technology (CATech) and Business Incubation Centers(BIC) for enterprise startups. An integrated scheme tailored to motivate innovations and technology developments. CATech and BIC are game-changers aimed at transforming our increasing jobless graduates to active workforce and resourceful entrepreneurs. Emphasis on skill empowerment for youths and leadership orientation programs are equally important in the drive to transform businesses and communities.

Sustainable economic development can only be achieved through realization of the need for structural transformation, which requires creating a robust and diversified industrial base. Our development blueprint therefore acknowledged the importance in applications of current efficient technologies to optimize available human and material resources for investors to stay competitive in the emerging Industrial space.

As a priority to creating conducive environment for investors, the chamber will always support ongoing government incentives to industries that are mainly dependent on locally sourced raw materials, especially resources with great potentials for extensive product value chain. We shall likewise support regulatory policies to encourage international best practices for product quality and workplace safety. More so, we look forward to partnering with institutions in support of the current global efforts on renewable energies. These among other acceptable world standards define our values.

It is also worthy of note that our avid commitment to serve members and communities is most importantly motivated by a strong desire to encourage inclusive growth based on mutually benefiting relationships among all stakeholders. A partnership attribute we consider very vital in building vibrant industrial ecosystem that offers ample benefit to investors, as well as provide job opportunities for residents. The ultimate goal being to create a sustainable business environment that will transform the region to attractive investment destination for both individuals and companies.
